Bashar Tahir erlangte 2017 den Dipl.-Ing. und promovierte 2022 zum Dr.techn. im gebiet der Telekommunikation an der TU Wien. Derzeit ist er als Postdoc am Institute of Telecommunications, TU Wien angestellt. Seine Forschung liegt in den Bereichen:

• Integrated sensing and communications (ISAC)
• Graph neural networks (GNNs)
• Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)
• Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs)
• Channel coding
• Link-level evaluation of wireless systems

Bashar Tahir received the master's and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunications from the TU Wien, Austria, in 2017 and 2022, respectively. Currently, he is employed as a post-doc at the Institute of Telecommunications, TU Wien. His research lies in the areas of:
