Selected topics for the mathematical modeling of complex dynamical systems from different (coupled) physical domains (coupled elastic mechanical structures, electromagnetic transducers, pneumatic and hydraulic drive systems, etc.).
The examination consists of a written and an oral part. For the written part, an exercise has to be prepared. This serves as a basis for the discussion at the oral examination. In addition, Appendix A of the lecture notes comprised exam questions that will give a hint to the conduct of the oral examination.
