After successful completion of the course, students are able to to draw up selected topics in the field of nanotechnology and material research, abstract the main ideas and to present them in a seminar lecture.

Literatur recherche and (depending on the topic) small project on a topic relevant to current research in the field of nanotechnology, e.g. growth of silicon nanowires, nanotechnology simulation, cell growth on a silicon chip. Documentation of the results.
