Aim of course

Introduction to the manufacturing process of printed circuits and electronic assembling. Understanding of quality relevant material and process parameters. Learning to fabricate prototypes of simple electronic assemblies.

Subject of course

Wet etching and electroplating techniques for structuring of electronic circuits, introduction into a CAD system, assembling (adhesive bonding and soldering), preparation of metallographic cross sections, fundamental methods of quality assurance.
