Introduction to the manufacturing process of printed circuits and electronic assembling. Understanding of quality relevant material and process parameters. Learning to fabricate prototypes of simple electronic assemblies.

Wet etching and electroplating techniques for structuring of electronic circuits, introduction into a CAD system, assembling (adhesive bonding and soldering), preparation of metallographic cross sections, fundamental methods of quality assurance.

Introductory test, targeted at the laboratory tasks. Moreover, involvement during the course and a final report fabricated by the group are also base for evaluation.
