Examination modalities

Grading

  1. Two multiple choice tests in the exercise part of the lecture
  2. Written and oral examination: The written exam has 4 problems, up to 100 credits can be earned, at least 20 credits each are needed in the "linear systems" and "nonlinear systems"). For the written exam you get a copy of the lecture notes provided (you are not allowed to bring your own).A positive written exam is required for the oral exam.

Exercise part

Attendence of the ongoing lecture is voluntary but highly recommended.
For both, the multiple choice tests and the handed in examples with correct solutions, you will receive additional credits, which will be added to those of the written exam, so that the final grade can be improved by max. one degree. If students do not hand in examples and do not attend the multiple choice tests, the final grade will be degraded by one degree.
