This course is held in 5 groups, please register for either group, Monday to Friday.
NOTE: UE lectures will start Monday October 9th
Tests Administration:
- 1 midterm exam: covers the first part of the course program;
- 1 final exam: covers the second part of the course program;
- 1 ''replacement exam'' (nachtest): covers the entire course program and will be held after the final exam.
Exam duration: 1h30min.
To pass the exam the student must:
- be present at the UE lectures. Each student can miss 2 lectures maximum. If a student did not complete the assigned homework BUT is in the class, he/she is considered an attendee.
- deliver the assigned homeworks to the tutors before the end of the semester.
- solve at least 50% of all the exercises assigned in the homeworks (completed exercises must be confirmed on TUWel).
- take at least two exams (this accounts for all unforeseen occurrences such as, illnesses, accidents, family emergencies, etc.). If a student takes all three exams, the lowest score will be eliminated when calculating the final grade.
Structure of each exam:
All exams are in written form. Each exam consists of two problems. Each problem is subdivided in two or more parts (Questions). To each Question a score is assigned so that the maximum score that can be achieved for a perfect exam is 100.
Scores: As a general guideline, scores will be assigned according with the following table. However, the general outcome of the exam can influence the scoring (i.e. if the exam is too difficult, score threshold will be lowered accordingly).
