After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
d'Alembert's principle, Lagrange's equations, 3-dimensional continuum (strain tensor, stress tensor, constitutive equations), linearised elasticity theory, curved rods, energy methods, approximation methods, stability of equilibria and motions
The lecturer presents examples on the board.
