A sketchbook (in A4 format or larger) must be kept parallel to the lecture.
Changes in the LVA due to the corona pandemic (as of September 30, 2020)
Due to your safety during the corona pandemic, this year the lecture will only take place ONLINE as a flipped learning mode.
That means:
The lectures are uploaded to TUWEL as videos once a week on Wednesday.
In addition, you have the opportunity to ask questions about the individual lectures in weekly zoom sessions and to discuss your sketches.
Break-out rooms: discussions in small groups
1) Lecture: The new lecture is uploaded to TUWEL as a video every Wednesday at 1 p.m.
2) Zoom Sessions:
After you have listened to and sketched the lecture, a ZOOM session will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the following week. There we give you the opportunity to ask content-related questions about the respective lecture and to exchange ideas about your construction drawings.
REGISTRATION
In order to have access to the TUWEL course, you must be registered for the current course in WS 2020.
You will receive the invitations for the Zoom events in the TUWEL course.

IMPORTANT: YOUR PREPARATION FOR THE ZOOM SESSIONS V1-V8:
Listen to the respective lecture every week
Sketch constructions "quickly" and "slowly"
Use the week to sketch the constructions of the respective lecture. Research the qualities of the respective drawing speed in different media in order to establish this as a craft for your personal practice.
We recommend keeping a sketchbook in A4 or A3 format.
Collect questions ...
Digitized sketchbook
Take photos of your construction sketches so that you can present and discuss them during the zoom session.
(Please no scans in order to avoid quality loss)
Send your questions and sketches as a collected PDF (max. 20 MB) weekly by Monday 9:00 am at the latest to Philip Kaloumenos: kaloumenos@h1arch.tuwien.ac.at
Your questions and sketches will be grouped by topic and answered in the next zoom session.
