Construct and translate simple rules for planning to an executable script;
Learn the use and application of digital Tools (Grasshopper) in planning;

Relevant topics in planning will be discussed in three workshop sessions. Within these workshop sessions different Grasshopper definitions will be developed together. Topics are:

• Subdivision of areas and the multitude
• Shortest / longest path
• Neighbourhoods

With the skills learned within the course „Build the Code“ the developed Grasshopper definitions can be extended with own components.

Each workshop session has an exercise assigned to it. To complete the course, one exercise has to be developed and presented. The Topic can be chosen from the workshop sessions attended. Components developed within the course „Build the Code“ can and should be used to complete the course.

The presentations for this course are held together with the presentations of „Build the Code“.

The learned skills can be developed further in the design course „digitales Entwurfsgewimmel, einfachst!“
