This is a course of the Modul Cultural Spaces
In this course, students are shown approaches on how to submit a research proposal, what framework conditions are necessary for this and what funding opportunities are available. During the course, students will be helped to develop their own research questions and outline a hypothetical research project.
To this end, projects from various disciplines with the corresponding approach will be presented. In addition, research funding opportunities are presented and students work on topics that could lead to a project in the region.
The subject areas of the projects can range from basic research on topics that have not yet been researched in the region, to applied projects that serve to generate a better understanding of the preservation of the World Heritage Site in the region, to projects that map the values of the cultural landscape.
As the module takes place in cooperation with the Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut Cultural Landscape Inventory (KLASCH) research project, there are exciting opportunities to actively exchange ideas with top experts and stakeholders in the region.
