Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to deal creatively with historical buildings, because all design work on protected structures requires specific expertise and appropriate strategies. This excursion offers students the opportunity to study on the site the manifold requirements that are needed to conserve, restore, renovate and administrate a historic monument.

Subject of course

Excursion of the design studio: Spinning Mill Evan Evans

This excursion will take place from March, the 30th to April, the 5th to the Erzgebirge, Saxony. 

Arrival on 30/03/2023, departure on 05/04/2023; accommodation in the region. Additional excursions and sightseeing are planned.

The excursion fee is about €300,- and includes costs for accommodation and excursions. The arrival and departure is to be organized and paid by the students themselves.

This excursion is reserved for the participants of the design studio only.
