to plan a research project in architecture including:

  • Defining a research question. 
  • Describing an appropriate/useful methodology.
  • Organising a necessary consortium.
  • Outlining a workplan.
  • Estimate the necessary budgets and
  • Propose related funding options.

Subject of course

Presentations of representatives of research funding institutions in Austria on national, international and European level.

Workshops and discussions with the aim to create a research idea.

Teaching methods

•Presentations and discussion about the definition of research questions •Presentation and discussion about research approaches •Presentation of representations of funding agencies •Supervision for the development of a project outline
