After successful completion of the course, students are able to present in-depth research results on the topic of their seminar paper written in the previous semester in a scientific form according to international standards, going beyond an seminar paper. This should also serve to create publishable contributions for scientific anthologies (proceedings, etc.) from the seminar papers.
Through this in-depth seminar, students learn how to extract further research questions from a topic that has already been worked on or which methods other than those already practiced during the previous seminar are available. In addition, students are taught various paper templates and the different citation and referencing methods. The communication of this content is essential for the creation of publishable contributions for scientific anthologies (proceedings, etc.).
The students bring with them their successfully graded seminar work in the fields of building history and building archaeology. This then serves as a basis for developing it into a publishable academic text with individual support and in-depth study.
The course can only be successfully completed if the advanced seminar work to be submitted in writing meets the international standard.
