Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to classify selected current publications from the field of solid body physics, to understand their fundamentals, and to independently familiarize themselves with new articles.

Subject of course

Results of the current research of strongly interacting electron systems.

Teaching methods

Seminar presentations by students involved in current research in solid-state physics through master's or doctoral theses.

Additional information

Every week 1-2 scientific articles (both theoretical and experimental) will be discussed, which are to be read by each participant beforehand. After a short informal presentation and summary of the publication by one of the participants, it will be discussed.
