Aim of course

Formulation of static optimization problems as nonlinear programming models, learning of theoretical knowledge and several solution techniques for the application of nonlinear programming in particular to economic problems.

Subject of course

Exercises to the corresponding lecture No. 105.147. Solution and discussion of further models and examples (problem formulation, model construction, numerical solution, interpretation of the results).
