urban rebound-effects

01.07.2014 - 31.10.2016
Forschungsförderungsprojekt

Within project uRbe the empiricism concerning rebound effects in the sectors of housing, gadgetry, and traffic shall be improved. As a theoretical basis consumption will be modeled allowing simulations of interferences (behavior modification …). To enhance the data, interrogations and interviews as well as an online-survey will be conducted. Based on the acquired data rebound effects in the sectors of housing, gadgetry, and traffic will be quantified and their causes explained. In the next step measures to avoid or decrease rebound effects and recommendations for future research and funding of research and innovation will be developed.
