Forschungsförderungsprojekt
WIT stands for Women's Postgraduate College for Internet Technologies (WIT), and is the only programme of its kind in Austria. WIT is a five-year programme and gets financed by the Austrian government and the European Union. WIT offers 8 PhD positions for women in the area of internet technology and builds up a special support programme to encourage young girls and women to study computer science.
