The special solid waste incineration plant for hospital and slaughterhouse waste on Madeira, Portugal is to be modelled. The primary combustion chamber is modelled in detail, the overall mass- and energy balances calculated. The aim of the project is to make a general and specific statement on the combustion process as well as on the nominal plant data.
