Bitumen is an important petrochemical product. Especially for bitumen used during production of paintings or for sealing purpose during construction of houses and bridges, the properties are of extraordinary impoertance. Adjustment of properties usually is done by blowing bitumen with oxygen. Due to the complex composition and structure of bitumen, the description of this process is very difficult. In the project effects arising from the change from discontinuous to continuous bitumen blowing and affecting process and product quality will be investigated.
