The aim of the present project is twofold:
First of all, the user-friendliness of the developed toolkit is to be improved by developing a software, which allows automatically calculating and displaying the waste flows, waste processes, associated emissions of uPOPs and greenhouse gases, as well as the costs for waste management (goal A).
Second, for the software as well as the general toolkit for establishing waste management plans a training (2 online training courses) should be provided (goal B).
Both goals are under the project “Promotion of BAT/BEP to reduce uPOPs releases from waste open burning in participating African countries of SADC”.
