Cooperation with Taif University for enhancing education and research in natural science

the aim of the project is to establish a colloboration between Taif University and Vienna Technical University in Austria in different scientific fields (environmental chemistry, radiation and nuclear physics, etc ). During the plannes project the Vienna Univeristy of Technology (TU-Wien) will provide the necessary advice to establish and manage a new analytical center at the Taif University (TU-KSA). The center will be available to assist industry, goventment, other universities, communities and the public with their analytical problems. The expected analytical center will contain three principal sub-units using the available facilities and equipments at the Taif University. These sub-units are analytical service unit, standard reference materials units and environmental radiactivity unit. During the period of the planned project, exchange visits for professors, researchers, and PhD graduates from both sides will be organized for different purposes, such as training programs for the staff of the Taif University, scientific and technical support from tge staff of Vienna Technical University.
