Research funding project
The project is carried out in the frame of the ESA project "HRSC on Mars Express", whose principal investigator is Prof. G. Neukum (Freie Univ. Berlin). TMIS.plusII is a continuation project, intended to maintain und if requested to extend TMIS (Topographic Mars Information System). It also focuses on the utilisation of data acquired by the HRSC in order to enhance of digital terrain models and interpret them with respect to geomorphological properties.
