Efficiency improvement of heat exchangers results in saving primary energy as well as reduction of CO2 emission. In the actual project heat transfer enhancement at tubes will be studied. Experimental and numerical investigations are planned. The aim is the evaluation of heat transfer enhancement methods and the quantification of the enhancement.
