Flow Simulation and Optimization of a Parallel Plate Separator

Assigned research project
Based on CFD-simulations the flow field in parallel plate separators shall be analysed. These systems are used for the separation of oil from water. Changes of the interior will affect the flow field. CFD-simulations shall give an insight of the actual flow field and the effect of the geometrical changes with an emphasis of the plate separator's inflow and outflow.
