This Statement of Work (SoW) presents the technical details and requirements for the radiation testing to be performed on SG instrumentation. SG instrumentation used by IAEA Safeguards is frequently operated or installed in environments with elevated radiation fields. In order to verify that such equipment can perform reliably under these conditions, it must be subjected to radiation testing. This testing includes, but is not limited to, exposure of SG equipment to neutron and gamma radiation of a wide range of flux and spectrum, typically only achievable in a nuclear reactor. However, test plans may also include setups that use isotopic neutron and gamma sources for technical and/or logistical reasons.
