Research funding project

The teaching of GIS in the College of Sciences and Technologies of the University of Tanger (Marokko) should be improved and coordinated with new curicculum guidelines. The goal is to graduate more students with a master degree in geoinformation to satisfy a growing demand from the public and private sector. Specifically, the project aims at: forming the teachers at the University Abdelmaleek Essadi of Tanger-Tetouan, equipping a professionel laboratory to support research an teaching, organizing a set of courses for continuing education of geoinformation professionals in private and public services, create a unit to document geoinformation and its application in Marokko, and establish a professional geoinformation society in Marocco.
