Reliability evaluation of the high voltage network of the Austrian Bundesbahnen To guarantee present supply reliability level of the Austrian railway system, a future expansion plan for the high-voltage transmission system has to be developed. In context of this project, reliability of network structures assigned for implementation in near future was evaluated for typical generation and load situations. From results of reliability analyses recommendations for future network expansions were derived.
