This project with the title „Querdenken quer denken” („Creative Thinking on Crazy
Ideas”) is a scientific support for the projects that receive the support in the currently open
call under the point 2.1.5 (Creative thinking on person’s mobility). In this project, whether and
to what extent existing financial instruments consider ideas, concepts, and implementation as
well as perspective that reaches beyond the borders of specialized disciplines, will be
analysed. Relevant national and international research grant programs will be surveyed and
analysed by means of various dimensions (financing, risks, innovation, sustainability, and
interdisciplinary, among many). These dimensions are compiled through a close
collaboration among all stakeholders, with creative methods from a repertory of the
qualitative research (sociology) being used (brainstorming, in-depth interviews, the quasi
Delphi method, etc.). The goal is the measures and suggestions, how innovation supports
and “crazy ideas” can be ideal-typically embedded in instruments, calls, and decision-making
processes.
