Quantum information extraction with multi-pass microscopy

01.04.2023 - 31.03.2024
Research funding project

For quantum simulations of many-body systems effective extraction of information is of great importance. In this project we explore the possibility to use multi-pass microscopy for dispersive imaging of ultracold atoms. This will enable the repeated measurement of large quantum systems and reduce the backaction disturbing the isolated system dynamics. Our approach builds on techniques already established in biological imaging combined with methods from ultracold atomic systems.
