Predictive Control of Biomass Combustion Plants
01.03.2009 - 30.09.2011
Forschungsförderungsprojekt
In der course of this project a model-based control concept for biomass combustion plants will be developed. The control concept will be model-based and predictive, and carbon-monoxide will be utilized as important variable. Based on the decoupling characteristics of predictive controllers it will become possible to operate the plants closer to performance limits; furthermore, primary, secondary, and tertiary air supply will be considered in the proposed control concept. Besides an expected saving in operating resources and an increased operating grade, self-learning properties with respect to fuel variations is sought for.
