As a contribution to the research project "Renewal Levels for Postwar Social Housing in Slovenia", the present expertise outlines brief thematic positions on the subject of "Sustainable refurbishment within the existing building stock". On the one hand these incorporate the research work of the undersigned team on sustainability, resource efficiency and housing, and on the other hand reference is made to the latest findings of the EU "Ecocity" project and other key findings based on a study of the predominantly Austrian research landscape on sustainable refurbishment within the existing building stock.
