In the present project the basics of a standardised Method to determine the costs, the effects and the economic benefits of measures to reduce environmental noise in Austria, as required in the Austrian environmental noise regulation (Bundes-LärmV) and the European Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise, is developed.
