Cooperative planning refers to the development of a common spatial awareness and the joint definition of spatial problems that are to be addressed by means of relevant measures in the planning process. The project employed various methods and techniques suitable for analysis of the status quo and examination of the proposed spatial measures involved in the redesign of an historic square, such as visual spatial analysis and description, and spatial simulation of planning scenarios. The main outcome of the project will be the production of a master plan for the historic centre of the market town of Kottingbrunn.
