Micro-gas turbine for low methane content bio fuel

As part of this project, requirements definition and technological approach as well as fundamental research in the combustion of micro gas turbines with low methane content are planned to analyze the energy conversion efficiency. In order to validate the research results, a performance monitoring on an existing micro gas turbine will be conducted carrying out real-world measurements with an innovative portable fuel consumption and exhaust gas mass emissions measurement system. In a specific work package, the application of micro gas turbines as range-extender auxiliary generator for electric vehicles will be investigated.
