The project investigates the reliability of a shear/compression test fixture. The goal is to answer the guestion how reliable are the measured shear/compression strength values. Linear finite Element models (Submodelling) are utilized in comlination with failure routines developed of the ILSB, where the threatment of region showing high stress gradients is also included.
