Investigation of quantum mechanical phenomena by means of optical experiments for quantum-information technique (07-08)

01.04.2007 - 31.05.2008
Research funding project
Neutron optical experiments is established as a method for investigations of foundations of physics. In this project, neutron interferometer and polarimeter will be used to carry out studies of (1) Kochen-Specker-like quantum contextuality, (2) Complete positive mapping, (3) Upgrading of the neutron optical beam-line at Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), etc. These researches will contribute to forming intellectual properties as well as developing new technical innovations.
