Harmonization of surveyed, net-based geodata for power suppliers

Power suppliers collect large amounts of homogenious geometric data and use them to manage their infrastructure. Intersecting these data with the cadastre show the amount of land used for the infrastructure. Power supplies must pay compensations when using land owned by private persons. This is done using a geographic Information system (GIS). The Austrian cadastral data is geometrically inhomogeneous. Thus, the Austrian cadastral agency develops plans to harmonized the cadastral data. This will cause problems for the data collected by the power supplies. The project aims at solving this issue.
