GMES products & services, integrating EO monitoring capacities to support the implementation of European directives and policies related to ¿land cover and vegetation¿

01.01.2004 - 31.03.2007
Forschungsförderungsprojekt
Geoland aims to provide and establish geo-information products and services to support the European Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) programme. geoland utilises available Earth Observation resources, and integrates them with existing models into pre-operational end-user applications. The geoland products and services focus on the monitoring of land cover and vegetation, thus addressing the GMES priorities "Land Cover Change in Europe", "Environmental Stress in Europe", and "Global Vegetation Monitoring".
