Gallneukirchen urban planning study

The aim of this research-oriented planning process was to present different options for the redesign and new development of the core area of the Upper Austrian town of Gallneukirchen. First of all, a comprehensive inventory and analysis of the immediate core area and the surrounding extended planning area was carried out. Based on this analysis and taking into account the building and planning interests of the affected landowners, various scenarios were developed and subsequently presented in a workshop held at the municipal offices. The lively discussion process involving representatives of the municipal council and the landowners brought forth constructive suggestions which have been incorporated into a further comprehensive planning proposal.
