Flat roof II, Examination to flow of roofs in timber construction

Assigned research project
One aim of the project is a system analysis of flat-tilted roofs which are partly insulated between the timber frames. Another aim of the project is the development and the assessment of a simulation model, which calculates the hygrothermal processes between the timber frames. The so gained data will be used to assess the performance and to optimise the investigated flat-tilted roofs. The conclusions which are relevant for practitioners will be used for an extension of the planning-brochure for flat-tilted roofs which was developed in the context of the BRIDGE-project (FFG number 812986). Another aim of the project is the optimisation and the further development of a monitoring-system for alerting in case of the entering of liquid-water into the flat-tilted roof.
