The magnitude of the investment accomplished by the MA48 by relinquishing used electrical and electronic devices to a socio-economic enterprise at no charge is investigated. Also the benefit of this contribution of the MA48 regarding the reintegration of long-term unemployed people into the primary labour market as well as the respective consequences for public funds are determined.
