The goal of the EC project is the investigation of the structure of radioactive nuclei at the limit of binding, in order to obtain deepen the insight into the specifics of the nuclear force, the structure of nuclear matter and the phenomena occuring in quantum mechanical many-body systems under extreme conditions. The task of the involved group of TU Wien is the development of a modern computer code for large-scale multi-channel systems, which allows the calculation of complex reaction observables. In order to achieve this goal the development of an improved formulation of the breakup reactions is required.
