The aim of this project is the development of innovative panels made of natural fiber composite material (e.g. straw, hemp, flax, ...) for vans. These plates shall replace the present used wooden plates that serve as protection for the body and for securing the load and any structures. According to the worldwide ecological and economic developments, the project focuses on the use of renewable resources that involves weight savings and a reduction in environmentally critical materials in the production of the panels.
