Emission development of finedust and NOx from thermal power stations up to 2020

Aim of the project is the prediction of the NOx- and finedust (PM2,5 and PM10) emission development from electricity production in Austria up to 2020. The current as well as the future emissions will be calculated based on several production and consumption scenarios. The results will be compared with other sectors. For the prediciton of the actual emissions form the power stations the current emission factors will be used. A judgement of the state of the art of the existing power stations is not content of the project. For future plants the emissions will be estimated with a new state of the art has to be defined.
