The objective of the project is to deliver input data and scenarios for the transport sector as a basis for the climate and energy policy framework 2030 and for the reporting commitment 2017 of the EU Monitoring Mechanism (Nr. 525/2013/EG). The work includes a scenario WAM plus: measures which exceed the needs of the Monitoring Mechanism based on the scenarios WEM "(with existing measures") and WAM ("with additional measures"). It is essential to create a robust data base concenrining the 2020 targets and the ongoing discussion about the 2030 targets. A -80% GHG scenario will be modelled for the target year 2050 based on the scenario WAM plus 2015.
