Scientific support for preparing, organising and documenting the European Future Congress on "Urban cultural landscape in the Ruhr Metropolis"
12.04.2010 - 31.12.2010
Assigned research project
What will be the future of the Emscher Natural Park in the Ruhr region? This was the core question of "Der produktive Park", a memorandum on the Emscher Natural Park edited by Rudolf Scheuvens and Marion Taube. Containing a wealth of expert contributions, the publication was presented at the close of the European Future Congress on the Emscher Natural Park in Essen on 1 October 2010. The memorandum advocates that the many different users and the local population should be more strongly involved in the active development, use and appropriation of Europe’s largest natural park.
