The aim of the CD-MOD project ¿ECO-DESIGN: An Innovative Path Towards Sustainable Development¿ is to improve and enrich the curriculum of Engineering courses, especially that of Industrial Design and Environmental Engineering, in all the partner institutions, at undergraduate level, by implementing in the current engineering curricula an European module of Eco-Design, with four subjects:  Eco-design: Fundamentals;  Embedding Eco-Design in Product Design;  Life Cycle Assessment;  Product Recycling Technologies. The main activities developed in the frame of the project are: needs analysis, equipment acquisition, material collection, defining the syllabi for the four modules, development of the teaching aids, testing and implementation of the module, evaluation of the teaching aids, publishing the teaching aids (manuals and CD), certification procedure of the module and dissemination. The expected outputs are the syllabi and the manuals for the four subjects of the module.
