Computational Catalysis and Atomic-level Synthesis of Materials: Building Effective Catalysts from First Principles

01.08.2009 - 31.07.2014
Research funding project
The multi-institutional, multi-investigator Energy Frontier Research Center for Atomic Level Catalyst Design advances the state-of-the-art in both first-principles catalyst design, and engineering at the molecular level so that catalysts with specific, intentional properties designed to carry out the reactions needed to convert renewable and heavy fossil resources and end products (CO2 and H2O) into useful energy sources can be prepared.
