The project ¿CNG Off Road¿ addresses the reduction of the high CO2-, NOx and PM emissions of off road machines in sensitive regions of nature. Therefore the assignment and the development of CNG drive trains at high alpine space will be analysed. A CNG power train of a heavy-weight snow cat, further a light snow cat and a light all-terrain as well as a SUV vehicle are used. Subsequently the results are evaluated in real-life measurements to obtain conclusions for the motor application.
