Flow simulation and optimization of a firebox

Computational fluid dynamics shall be used to analyse a firebox with a cylindrical post-combustion zone (22 MW thermal). Starting from a base case in accordance with the industrial partner th flow will be calculated considering gas phase combustion, radiation and secondary air injection. Subsequently, an optimised geometry shall be analysed in the same way.
